(Foster Found) Wernher

Look at this handsome boy!!  Wernher is a gorgeous German shepherd that needs a place to crash while his owner makes a humanitarian effort to help others. Wernher’s owner is pretty special; she served in the Coast Guard and is now working on helping others.  The owner will be kayaking across the globe to bring awareness to the billions of people without clean water.   Can you help the owner while she helps others?

The owner is able to transport within an 8-hour radius of Portland, ME.

Wernher is a very well-trained and well-behaved German Shepherd who is very sweet and affectionate. He normally can be found following the owner around and want to be by her side. Werther enjoys cuddling and sitting on people’s feet.  Werner enjoys long walks and runs. He has lived with children over the age of 6, cats, and other dogs. House, leash, and crate trained, but he doesn’t need to be crated. No destructive behavior. Wernher is good with people, children, and dogs and is playful with cats. Wernher sometimes engages in herding behaviors.
