Breed/Type: Shepherd
Location: Bogart, GA
Meet Valor! This well-mannered and loving 9-year-old shepherd is looking for a foster home while his owner is on assignment and their spouse manages health challenges and a newborn. Valor needs a foster now through September 3, 2026. He is currently located in Bogart, GA, and transportation can be arranged within a 3-hour radius.
Valor is a devoted, intelligent, and well-behaved companion who thrives in a loving home. He is house, leash, and crate trained (though he hasn’t been crated in years). He walks well on a leash, though he may pull slightly when excited, but is easily corrected.
While Valor is generally non-destructive and easygoing, he does have mild herding tendencies and may playfully nip at collars when running around with other dogs. He gets along with most dogs but will defend himself if an alpha dog becomes aggressive toward him.
If you have room in your heart and home for this affectionate, well-mannered, and intelligent pup, consider fostering Valor! He will bring joy, companionship, and loyalty while you help him through this temporary transition.
