Meet Tyson & Niska two sweet bonded senior pups that need a place to crash while their owner is deployed June 24, 2024 – Nov. 21, 2024.  The owner can transport within a 4-hour radius of Sanford, NC.

Tyson and Niska are a bonded senior pair that the owner would prefer to be fostered together. Tyson and Niska are good with people, children of all ages, and dogs. Untested with cats.  Both are house, crate, and semi-leash trained, but don’t need to be crated and have no destructive tendencies.  They both may pull a bit when being walked but are friendly when meeting new people and pets along the way.  Tyson, a chihuahua mix, will bark and growl on walks when the pets or people are across the street, but when meeting then up close he is friendly and excited. Niska takes her cues from Tyson and may also bark, but when she is walked by herself she is a happy-go-lucky pup and doesn’t bark.

Both pups enjoy going for walks and do well at doggie daycares. Both were raised with toddlers and young children and have always done well and enjoy childrens’ company. Both do well with other dogs, though Tyson prefers calmer dogs that aren’t hyper.

Tyson is a low-energy chihuahua mix,  who is a sweet loving little guy who enjoys sleeping, and cuddling. The owner states he is the cuties little thing and enjoys making nests with blankets to sleep in, and getting love and attention. Tyson is normally quiet, but he will whine at you to let you know if he needs, food,water or to go out.

Niska is a small 10 year old lab husky mix, that enjoys going for walks and snuggling. Niska can be a silly goof and loves being out in the yard.  This sweet girl is very food-orientated and will snag any food left unattended.  Niska is always happy and friendly and loves getting scratches and snuggling.

Both dogs are sweet and snuggling pets that need a place to crash until their owner can return from serving our country.
