(Foster Found) Storm& Zoey H.

Meet Storm & Zoey two sweet dogs that need a foster while the owner is deployed overseas from Aug. 8, 2024 – June 1, 2025.  The owner can transport within a 4-hour radius of Kalamazoo, MI.  The owner is willing to separate to find a safe secure foster while deployed.

Storm is your typical 3-year-old, silly goofy labrador, who loves everyone and wants to play. Storm is good with people, children of all ages, and dogs. Untested with cats, but the owner feels she might do well with cats, but maybe playful.  Storm is house and semi-leash trained. Storm does pull because she is always ready to go and enjoys meeting new people and pets while out exploring. Storm is not crate-trained, but doesn’t need to be and has no destructive tendencies.  Storm enjoys playing , and is always ready to play. She enjoys going for walks, and playing fetch.  is well-behaved and food-driven—quiet, barley barks. Will cuddle but prefers to play. Velcro dog, follows owner.

Zoey is a sweet low-key senior, who is loving but independent. Zoey is a 9-year-old mix, DNA tests indicate,  Collie, Terrier, and a few other breeds mixed in her. The owner states Zoey is more like a cat, while she likes attention and treats, but is usually off chilling by herself. Zoey is good with people, children, and some dogs after a slow introduction, and does better with low-energy dogs. Zoey is house and leash-trained. On walks she prefers not to be bothered by other people or dogs, she is friendly with people but is only somewhat friendly with other dogs if forced to socialize. Can get along with other dogs with a slow introduction.  Unsafe with cats. Zoey enjoys walks and being in the yard, and will bark when others approach the house.

Stormy would do well in an active household with other pets and children, and Zoey would do well in a quieter household.
