Meet Scooby, a sweet senior pup looking for a cozy place to stay while his owner is deployed from August 31, 2024, to October 11, 2025. Scooby’s owner is willing to transport him anywhere within a reasonable distance, as long as time permits.

Scooby is a gentle, affectionate senior who gets along well with people, with a special fondness for women. He’s great with children over the age of 8 and has previously lived with cats, so he should do well with them too. Scooby is used to apartment living and is naturally quiet, rarely barking.

Scooby is a “velcro dog” who loves to stay close to his owner, following them everywhere and enjoying cuddles. While he does enjoy plenty of naps, he also likes to go out for short walks and explore a bit, especially in the afternoons.

Scooby is crate trained, although he doesn’t need to be crated; he’ll happily sleep in his crate with the door open. He has no destructive tendencies, except when it comes to soft toys, which he enjoys chewing. Scooby still has bursts of playful energy, getting the zoomies for about 5 minutes before settling down again.

Scooby can be reactive towards other dogs, so it’s best to avoid them during walks.
