Meet Roxy! 🐾

Located in Drexel Hill/Havertown, PA, Roxy is a sweet and loving 3-year-old, 25-pound mix in need of a foster home. Her owner is currently receiving medical treatment, and Roxy’s caregiver is stepping in, visiting her three times a day to provide care. A foster home is needed for Roxy now, potentially until December 15, 2025, but it could be a shorter commitment. The caregiver can transport Roxy within a 3-hour radius of Drexel Hill/Havertown, PA.

Roxy is a delightful rescue with a gentle personality. She is house and pee pad trained, and she’s also leash trained, making walks a breeze. Roxy is not crate trained, but she’s well-mannered and has no destructive tendencies. She can be left alone for up to 6 hours during the day and 11 hours at night  without needing to use the pee pads – the caregiver notes that she hasn’t used them at all in recent weeks!

With a calm demeanor and no aggressive tendencies, Roxy is easy to handle. She’s perfectly comfortable with having her bone or treats removed from her mouth. Roxy enjoys meeting new people, children, and other dogs, though she has not lived with young kids or cats. Her interactions with dogs are minimal but friendly, especially during walks.

Roxy loves her daily walks and will happily play fetch, although she’s more of a laid-back girl who loves to chew on a bully stick and nap on her cozy bed. She enjoys giving kisses and cuddling up with her owner on the sofa. Roxy has a pleasant, submissive temperament and thrives on human connection, whether it’s playing on the floor or just relaxing together.
