Peaches P.

Peaches P.

Breed/Type: Pit mix

Location: Honolulu, HI

Needs foster care by: January 27, 2025
Needs foster care until: August 31, 2025

Peach is a sweet and energetic pit bull looking for a temporary foster home from January 27, 2025, to August 31, 2025 while his owner fulfills military obligations. Peach’s owner can transport him anywhere within Hawaii and potentially to South Carolina, though they would prefer to keep him on the islands.

Peach is a playful pup who loves life’s simple joys—running around, swimming, and long walks on the beach are his favorite activities. He’s a pro at fetch, especially when yellow tennis balls are involved, and he’ll keep you entertained with his enthusiasm for play. When it’s time to relax, Peach is just as happy basking in the sun or curling up on his dog bed nearby.

While Peach adores people and enjoys meeting new friends, his ideal foster home would not include other pets. He has done well with some dogs in the past, particularly females, but after a recent dog attack, he’s feeling a little unsure around other animals. He’s untested with cats, and his owner recommends caution if children are involved, as Peach has not lived with very young kids.

This affectionate boy is eager to please and loves being close to his humans. He’s also a great watchdog, always ready to alert you to visitors, but his bark hides a soft heart—offer him a treat, and you’ll have a friend for life.

Peach is leash-trained and thrives on routine, so he’ll settle in quickly with a patient, loving foster who can provide him the structure and comfort he needs. If you’re looking for a loyal and fun companion, Peach is ready to bring joy to your home.

Could you give Peach the safe, loving home he deserves? Apply to foster today and make a difference in this special dog’s life!
