Oreo is a 1-year-old, lovable, and social pup in need of a short-term foster home while she waits to be reunited with her owner in Hawaii. Due to her owner receiving orders to PCS to Hawaii, there wasn’t enough time to get Oreo cleared for transport, so she needs a safe and loving place to stay for a few months. Oreo’s owner can transport her within a 3-hour radius from Fayetteville, NC, and is more than happy to accept help with transportation. If you’re in the area and can provide a cozy place for Oreo to wait, she’ll shower you with love and affection while she counts down the days until she can be with her owner again!

Oreo’s Personality: A Fun-Loving, Sweet Pup

Oreo is the perfect combination of playful and calm, making her an ideal companion for a variety of families. She is a social, friendly, and well-mannered dog who gets along great with people of all ages, including kids, and other dogs. While Oreo hasn’t lived with children, she has spent plenty of time with her young nieces and nephews, always showing them love and kindness. Unfortunately, Oreo has not been tested with cats, so a feline-free household might be best.

House, Leash, and Crate Trained!

Oreo is a dream to have around the house! She is house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained, making her easy to care for. Whether it’s going for a walk or visiting the dog park, she is always excited for an adventure. Oreo loves to run, chase, and play with other dogs, especially when it comes to games of tag or tug-of-war. Her playful personality will keep you laughing, and her zest for life is contagious!

Still Got the Zoomies!

Even at 1 year old, Oreo still gets the zoomies and will happily run around, chasing her tail in the yard. She loves playing with any toy she can toss in the air, especially if it means a game of fetch! Despite her energetic side, Oreo is also content to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. She’s a sunbather at heart and will happily curl up next to you for some quiet time or retreat to her crate for a nap, with the door left open for her comfort.
