Meet Lily – A Sweet and Social Pup Looking for a Foster Home!
Lily is a lovable, well-behaved 2-year-old, 50-pound Staffordshire Terrier in need of a foster while her owner is deployed with the military. Her owner is already away, and sadly, Lily is currently stuck in a kennel. She is located in Norfolk, VA, and transportation can be arranged within a 4-hour radius to ensure Lily finds a safe and loving temporary home. The foster would be needed now until December 15, 2025.
Lily has a heart of gold and is the perfect companion for any family. She is friendly and affectionate with people of all ages, including children and even cats! Lily has lived with both kids and cats and adapts wonderfully to both. She’s incredibly gentle with babies, loves playing with toddlers, and matches their energy levels perfectly. She has a calm and respectful nature with cats and always interacts on their terms.
This social butterfly is fantastic on walks—though she may pull a little, she listens well and corrects easily. She loves meeting new people and dogs, making walks a fun adventure every time! Lily is also a great travel buddy, loving long car rides, hikes, and trips to the beach. If there’s a dog park nearby, you can bet she’s thrilled to run and play with the other dogs, often preferring their company to getting attention from people.
Lily has a cheerful and relaxed temperament with no signs of aggression. She’s very well-mannered and will only get on furniture with your permission. At mealtime, she’s a well-trained girl, sitting, giving paw, and even praying before enjoying her dinner. While Lily isn’t the biggest fan of toys, she’ll occasionally grab one to play fetch or tug-of-war with you. When it’s time to wind down, she’s a champion napper and may even snore loudly in her sleep!
Lily loves cuddles and is an all-around joy to be around. She’d be a great addition to any home, and her loving nature will quickly make her feel like part of the family. If you’re able to foster Lily, you’ll be giving her a safe and happy space while her owner is away, and you’ll be rewarded with endless love from this sweet girl.
If you’re interested in fostering or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Lily can’t wait to meet her new temporary family!
