(FOSTER FOUND) Hazel G.

Meet Hazel a sweet and loving lab/boxer mix who needs an active foster home while her owner is deployed Sept. 20, 2024 – Jan. 7, 2025.  The owner is already deployed and the current foster is also deploying.  Transportation can be arranged within a few hours of New Hanover, NJ, would appreciate assistance with transportation.

Hazel is a brindle lab/boxer mix who has the temperament of a happy-go-lucky of a lab/boxer mix.  Hazel loves everyone and just wants to play and have fun.  Hazel is house, leash and crate trained, has no destructive or aggressive tendencies. The owner does crate her when she goes out for long periods of times, but has left her out with out incident for shorter periods.

Hazel uses a harness when walking to assist with her pulling because she is always eager to go, and say hi to everyone she meets. Hazel is extremely social and loves other dogs and is submissive to them.

Hazel is great with people, children of all ages, dogs and cats.  She really enjoys playing and may try and get the cats to play with her, though many cats may not want to play. Always loving and friendly. Hazel is currently living with cats.

Hazel loves being active and going for long walks, hikes, and to the dog park.

At home, Hazel is a sweet and loving goofy girl who enjoys playing but can be chill and hang out and cuddle on the sofa.  Hazel loves being around her people and will follow them around.  Hazel sometimes sleeps with the owner but can sleep in other areas.

Hazel would do well in an active household with a family that has time to get her energies out.
