🐾 Foster Urgently Needed for Hadley! 🐾

Meet Hadley, a super sweet and loving 6-year-old Border Collie looking for a temporary home while her owner is deployed. Hadley’s family is heartbroken to leave her behind but needs a foster from February 28, 2025, to October 31, 2025 while they arrange for her transport. Located in Murrieta, CA, her family is willing to transport her up to six hours to find the right foster home.

Hadley’s owner has received PCS orders and must leave by February 28, leaving too little time to prepare her for travel. While a family member is handling her vet appointments and paperwork, they’re unable to care for Hadley in their home. This affectionate pup just needs a safe and loving place to stay until she can reunite with her family.

Hadley is great with people, older children, and cats. She is house, leash, and crate trained, making her an easy addition to the right home. Because she was a rescue, Hadley has developed fear-based aggression toward other dogs, so she needs a foster home without other dogs. However, she has lived peacefully with cats and even enjoys playing and snuggling with them. Hadley can be timid around men at first but warms up once she feels safe.

Hadley loves to go for walks and will happily play fetch for hours. When she’s in the mood to play, she’ll bring you toys and drop them in your lap, wagging her tail and bouncing around with excitement until you join in! Whether it’s a ball, frisbee, or a soft toy, Hadley is always ready for fun. She walks well on a gentle leader leash and is friendly, though cautious, when meeting new people.

Hadley is an affectionate girl who loves to cuddle and will try to sit with you whenever she can. She has great house manners but should be crated when left alone, as she might be tempted to dig through the trash if it’s left out.

Because Hadley can be nervous around small, loud children, her owner prefers a foster home without young kids—just to be safe. If you can open your home to Hadley for these eight months, you’ll not only be helping a wonderful dog but also supporting a military family during their time of need.

📩 If you can help, please reach out! Hadley’s family is eager to find her a loving foster home.
