Dante & Max L.

Meet Dante & Max two friendly social huskies who enjoy playing and need a foster from Nov 6, 2024 – May 17, 2025.  The owner can transport within  8-hour radius of Fort Dix , NJ .  The owner prefers to keep this bonded pair together but understands if they need to be separated to secure a safe and loving foster.

Dante & Max are sweet-loving huskies that are good with people, children, dogs, and cats. Dante gets along with cats but likes to try and get them to play with him.  Both our house, crate, and semi-leash trained. The owner doesn’t crate them and they have no destructive tendencies, except possibly loose paper or a remote control.  They are both social and friendly on a leash and may pull because they are eager to go and meet new people and dogs along the way.  The owner does use a prong collar to help with the pulling.

They both enjoy going to the dog park and playing with other dogs. Dante is more playful and enjoys playing chase, while Max is more relaxed and chill.

Dante is a playful 2-year-old who loves to play fetch, squeaky toys and chew on his kong balls. When in a playful mood, Dante will throw his toys at you to get you to play with him. In true Husky fashion, he will also tell you what he wants. Dante also has high prey drive for small critters in the yard. Max is 6-years old and a little more chill than his brother, but still gets the zoomies and enjoys playing.

Both dogs enjoy human company and will follow the owner, and be next to the owner. They want to be next to you and will only cuddle when they feel like it, but they like to lay next to you and receive pets and love.

While they love being with people, if the door is left open they will escape and take off enjoying the chase as you try and get them back in.
