Meet Charlotte( Found fouster). ONLY NEED FOSTER FOR June whose Veteran owner is recovering from a serious accident and needs someone to watch his companions until he can care for them again Now- until Feb 28, 2025.   They can be transported within a 2-hour radius of Grand Ledge, MI, but help with transportation would be greatly appreciated.  The pets are older and have never been apart and the owner prefers to keep them together but understands if they need to be separated to secure a foster.

Charlotte is a sweet, loving, 10-year-old collie mix who is a bit of a couch potato, who is good with people, children, and dogs. Playful, chases cats.  Charlotte enjoys slow pace 2-mile walks, and going to the dog park. At the dog park, Charlotte would rather spend time with children and people than playing with the other dogs.  Charlotte is a chill pup that enjoys laying in the sun and looking out the door or window watching people or critters go by. Charlotte does like to cuddle and get attention and occasionally enjoys cuddling on the sofa.  Charlotte can be a diva at times and doesn’t like to walk on wet grass, and doesn’t like any loud noises such as fireworks,fire engines, or large trucks. Charlote is house and leash-trained- not destructive tendencies.

June is a sweet 9-year-old blue heeler/cattle dog that is very loving and playful. June is house and semi-leash – not crate trained but has no destructive tendencies. June does well with people and older teenage children. June loves going for long walks and loves to go running and has run up to 6 miles without tiring.  June pulls on the leash because she wants to go and is always excited to go for a run. June is leash reactive and other people and pets should be avoided because she becomes protective when on a leash.

June is a people-person dog. Junes is very attached to her owner and wants to be with him all the time. June will follow the owner everywhere and loves to cuddle and sleep with him.  June also loves to play fetch and loves to run. The owner trained her to play fetch using a gold club so it would the furthest. June will take off running to get it and will promptly bring it back for him to do it again.  June also has her indoor toys to play fetch with also.  June is a sweet and loving dog but would be best in a home without other pets or young children.
