Yogi Bear is a lovable 55-pound Black Lab mix who truly believes he’s a lap dog! This sweet, affectionate boy is looking for a foster while his owner is deployed from October 13, 2024, to April 25, 2025. Yogi’s owner is willing to transport him within a 4-hour radius of Wichita Falls, TX.

Yogi is a people-lover through and through—he adores adults and children (though he’s untested with toddlers) and thrives on playtime and cuddles. He gets along well with small dogs and can befriend larger dogs with a proper, slow introduction.

Yogi is house-trained, crate-trained, and semi-leash trained. While he does pull on the leash, especially when excited to meet new people, he’s non-destructive and eager to please. He enjoys walks, 1-mile runs, and is always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war.

What Yogi loves most is being close to his people—whether it’s playing, being petted, or curling up on the couch for some snuggle time. He’s a master cuddler who doesn’t always realize his size but will happily try to squeeze in as close as possible. While he’s typically well-behaved, he can have a bit of a stubborn streak now and then, adding a touch of personality to his already charming nature.
