Meet Yogi Bear a sweet and lovable big lap dog that needs a foster while his owner is deployed Oct 13, 2024 – April 20, 2025. The owner can transport within a 4-hour radius of Wichita Falls, TX.

Yogi is a 55-pound Black Lab mix that thinks he is a lap dog. Yogi loves people and children and loves to play and cuddle with them. However, he has no experience with toddlers.  Yogi gets along with most/some dogs. He does well with small dogs and can do well with larger dogs with a slow introduction.  Yogi is house, crate and semi-leash trained, and has no destructive tendencies.  On leash Yogi does pull and is always eager to meet new people, and can do well with meeting other dogs, but you need to read his body language to see how he is feeling about the dog approaching.

Yogi enjoys going for walks, and 1 mile runs with his owner. Yogi also enjoys running around, playing fetch and tug-of-war.  Yogi is man’s best friend and wants to be by your side and with people, and enjoys playing, being pet, or just cuddling up on the sofa.  Yogi is a super cuddler. Yogi doesn’t always realize his size when he is trying to curl up with you and tries to squeeze in as close as he can. He is well-behaved and normally listens unless he is in a stubborn mood and doesn’t feel like it, which only happens once in a while.

Yogi is a great lovable, sweet dog, who would do well with someone who enjoys having a constant companion by their side. He will follow you everywhere and enjoys napping and sleeping with the owner.
