Meet Wyle, a low-maintenance cuddle bug who needs a foster while his owner is deployed now through Jan 1, 2026. Wyle currently has temporary care but needs a foster home soon. Wyle can be transported within a 4-hour radius of Inw0od, WV.

Wyle is a 5-year-old, Heeler/Shepherd mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter by his owner. Wyle is a sweetheart who loves to get love and attention but has anxiety and can be fearful of other dogs and children. Wyle does great with adults and teenage children and loves to get scratched and attention once he gets to know you.  Wyle is low maintenance and well-behaved house, leash, and crate trained. Does well on leash, but may pull at first. Enjoys going for runs and walks.  Can meet new people and other dogs  while on leash , but with slow introduction and caution.

Wyle is a couch potato who enjoys lying around or sunbathing in the yard. He enjoys playing with soft squeaky toys and has a high prey drive for small critters in the yard.  This love bug loves to cuddle and snuggle up with you to hang out.

Wyle can get along with dogs his same size and a slow introduction. Wyle might be better in a home without other pets.
