Meet Riley, an 8-year-old coach potato who needs a place to crash while his owner is deployed overseas Oct. 1, 2024- May 25, 2025. The owner can transport within a 6-hour radius Marietta. PA.

Riley is an 8-year-old, lab/pit mix, who is house, leash, and crate-trained. Riley loves people and older children but has no experience with young children.  Riley is a well-behaved, love bug that loves to cuddle and sleep under the covers with his owner.  Riley is crate trained but does not need to be crated and has no destructive tendencies.  Riley does well on a leash with a prong collar and does not pull.  Riley does enjoy meeting new people on walks, but is fear-reactive with other dogs, and they should be avoided when out walking.  Riley has a high prey drive for small animals, such as squirrels, cats, and small dogs.

At home Riley is your best friend and loves being by yourside, he enjoys sleeping, going for walks, or playing fetch in the yard.  Riley can be a silly goofy pup when he wants to play, but then tires out and sleeps. Riley is food-driven and will do anything for a treat.

Riley does have a seizure disorder and is on daily medication.  Riley can get overstimulated in large crowds with a lot of activities.

The preferred foster home would be adult-only, older teens, and without other pets.
