Panther & Trevor S.

These two sweet boys need a place to crash while the owner is deployed overseas April 13, 2024- Oct. 30, 2024. The owner is able to transport within a 6 hour radius of Pikeville, NC. While the owner would like to keep them together, he is willing to separate in order to secure a safe and secure foster home.

Pather and Trevor are both adult male dogs that get along well with people and love children. Both are house, crate and semi-leash trained.  Pather doesn’t need to be crated or have any destructive tendencies. Trevor should be crated when left alone. 

Pather is a sweet boy who enjoys playing in the yard with his brother or just hanging out in the sun.  Pather enjoys going for long walks, but he does pull a bit on a leash. While he is happy to meet other people and other dogs, he does become overwhelmed when rushed by dogs, and does better with slow introductions.  Around the house, Pather is pretty chill and lays around on his dog bed or somewhere comfy. He enjoys playing with the kids, and enjoys being petted and scratched. He does sleep in the owner’s room at night, but the owner warns, ” Pather snores, loud.”

Trevor is another sweet boy, that really enjoys following the kids around and just being their buddy. He is always on alert and wants to know what everyone is doing. Trevor loves going for walks and is always friendly when meeting other people and dogs. Trevor enjoys going to the dog park but hasn’t been in a while because his brother, Pather, can’t go because he gets overwhelmed by too many dogs.  Trevor loves playing fetch and has a football he loves tossing around.

Trevor and Pather get along really and enjoy playing with each other. They will even play tag with each other and have no food aggression. The owner puts food out for them and they can graze on it all day.
