Oreo & Rita

Meet Oreo & Rita who need fosters while their owner is away June 15, 2025 – Feb 10, 2026. Their current PACT fosters are both moving and cannot take the pets with them. They’ve been fostered apart and would love to stay together if possible for the rest of their foster term.

The fosters can transport within a 2-3 hour radius of Scottsdale, AZ. and Glendale, AZ. They’d do best as the only pets in the house if fostered together. Rita could be fostered solo with male dogs, not female.

Oreo is a goofy fun-loving , extremely affectionate Goldendoodle that loves everybody and wants to play and have fun. Oreo loves people and gets along great with other pets, and is patient and gentle with young children. Oreo loves to go for long walks and may pull a little because he is eager to say hello to others. Oreo is a super cuddlers and loves giving kisses.

Rita is a low-maintenance 6-year-old Shiba Inu who is good with people, children, and some dogs.  Rita is house, and leash trained (pulls when excited), and is well-behaved in a home and does not need to be crated- no destructive tendencies. Rita is a couch potato and sleeps most of the time. Rita is a cat in a dog’s body, she loves sleeping and giving you funny side eyes when you’re being to loud for her. Rita is a quiet but affectionate pup, who occasionally likes to cuddle, but mostly likes to sleep. Rita can be a little stand-off-ish with other dogs when first meeting them but can warm up to them.  Rita is an alpha female and does not do well with other female dogs.

Both have lived with children of all ages.
