Meet Miso & Kimchi – Bonded Kitties Seeking Foster While Their Owner Serves Our Country

Meet Miso and Kimchi, two sweet, bonded kitties who need a loving foster home while their owner is deployed on military service. From March 29, 2025, to August 30, 2025, these adorable cats will need a temporary home while their owner serves our country. Currently located in El Paso, Texas, the owner is willing to transport them anywhere within the United States, and upon their return, they will be relocating to Illinois.  Need to be fostered together.

Miso and Kimchi are the definition of low-maintenance, lovable companions. They are both easygoing, affectionate, and get along with people of all ages, other cats, and even dogs (they’ve lived with large, cat-friendly dogs before). Whether you’re seeking a chill, quiet household or have a busy family, these two will adjust and bring calm and joy into your life.

Miso is the more laid-back of the two. He enjoys being petted and receiving attention but is just as content spending time alone or chilling with his sister. His favorite pastimes include lounging in the sun, napping, and watching birds outside the window. Miso is social at heart and has an extroverted side, but he’s equally fine being independent when the mood strikes.

Kimchi, on the other hand, is the ultimate cuddle bug. While she might be a little shy at first, once she warms up to you, she will be your shadow, following you around just to be close. Kimchi loves curling up next to you, whether it’s during the day for a nap or at night while you sleep. She’s the type of cat who will love and cherish your companionship.

Both Miso and Kimchi enjoy snuggling together and are often found napping side by side. They may sometimes knead on furniture, but they are well-trained to use scratch pads (which the owner will provide). They are indoor-only kitties and are fully litter box trained.
