Meet Michonne a sweet and social German shepherd who needs a foster while her owner is deployed from Jan. 25, 2025- Nov. 30, 2025. The owner can transport within a 10-hour radius of El Paso, TX.

Michonne has been described as a Golden Retriever in a German Shepherd body. This sweet, lovable girl is a playful, happy-go-lucky girl who loves everybody and everything and just wants to play and have fun. At 7 years old Michonne still has plenty of fun energy and enjoys going for walks, playing with doggy friends at the dog park, or just playing fetch, tug or chase with her people in the yard.  Michonne is good with people,children of all ages, dogs, and cats. Michonne has lived with babies and toddlers and is very gentle and tolerant of their behaviors. No aggressive tendencies. Michonne has stayed with pet sitters who have reported back, that she does well with their cats, she is curious and playful, but gentle and knows when the don’t want to play.

Michonne, is house, leash and crate trained, though she doesn’t need to be crated and has no destructive tendencies.  Well behaved on a leash, and easily corrected if she pulls with excitement. Michonne enjoys meeting new people and other dogs and can be eager to say hello.

Michone is affectionate and enjoys being by your side and always wants to be near you. Since she is not allowed on the furniture she will lay at your feet and loves getting scratches. She is curious to meet new people, and is a quiet respectful pup, but will bark when people knock on the door.

Michone is a really good dog that would make a lovely house guest.
