(Foster Found) Maui

Meet Maui, this super sweet, gentle baby whose owner will be PCS to Japan with the Air Force, who needs a place to crash while the owner works out Maui travel arrangements.  Foster is needed Aug 10, 2023 – approx. Dec. 15, 2023.  Currently, Maui is located in Arroyo Grande,CA, but the owner is willing to transport to secure a safe home, preferably the west coast area.

Maui’s owner plans to have him join them in Japan. Once he has his next vaccine round, they will plan to have him join them, which could be as early as mid Nov. early Dec. 

Maui is a loving family pet who is calm and patient with all.  Maui loves being with people, especially the little ones when they are eating. Maui will patiently sit and wait for food to fall so he can help clean up.  He is very calm and patient with children, and when he has had enough, he will calmly get up and move to another room.

Maui is a super friendly pup who gets along with other dogs, enjoys meeting new people when out and about, and enjoys being with people. Maui also gets along with cats, and will just ignore. He loves going for walks and playing. Maui has separation anxiety when left alone and will need to be crated. The owner will supply his crate.  Maui is usually quiet but will talk to you when playing or trying to get your attention. Maui likes to cuddle or sleep with his owner, but when he gets hot, he will find a cool place to lie down on the tile or in the shower.

Maui is a big lovable goofball who needs a place to crash until his owner can send him.

Maui is an alpha and should not be in a home with other male dogs, but the owner would prefer the foster not to have other pets.
