Luna is a 5-year-old, 40-pound bully breed mix with a heart full of love and a whole lot of charm! Her National Guard owner is already deployed, and Luna is looking for a temporary foster home until September 30, 2025. She’s currently in Burlington, NJ, and can be transported up to 2 hours to the right loving foster family.

🎾 A Playful Spirit with a Heart of Gold

Luna is a playful, affectionate girl who lights up when it’s time to go outside. Mention a walk or a game of fetch, and she’ll do a joyful tumble to let you know she’s ready! Her favorite games are tag, fetch, and anything involving belly rubs. This smart girl knows sit, rollover, off, paw, lie down, and even high-five—she’s eager to please and loves learning new things!

🏡 Luna’s Ideal Home

Luna would thrive in a home where she’s the only pet—she’s not fond of other dogs (especially females) and is untested with cats. While she’s fine in an apartment or a house with a fenced yard, she should be supervised outside per her owner’s request. Luna does best with teenagers or adults and prefers a home without small children. She’s crate trained, leash trained, and although she may jump when meeting new people, it’s all excitement—she just loves making new friends!

Luna is a low-key housemate most of the time—she barks at the door but is otherwise quiet and respectful in the home. She’s high-energy in the best way, and will thrive in a home with a daily routine, regular walks, and lots of affection. Her perfect match is a loving and patient foster who will shower her with the love and attention she deserves.
