Meet Laney, a beautiful 4-year-old Blue Pit Bull. Laney’s owner is in Army training and needs someone to watch Laney from Aug. 30, 2023- Nov. 30, 2023. The owner is willing to transport, and Laney is in Lewisburg, WV.
Laney is a sweet dog that is bonded to her owner and follows him everywhere. They enjoy going for long walks, hikes, or playing in the yard together. Laney is a cuddler and will climb under the covers with you to snuggle in for the night. Laney is also very smart, and while she is crate trained has taught herself how to unlock numerous different style crates. Since she is nondestructive, the owner confines her to one room while he is out. Laney is also leash trained and might only pull slightly if she sees a cat or squirrel. Laney is well-behaved and gets along with people and children.
While she used to have dog pals, a recent incident prompts us to seek a solo foster home for Laney. Plus, her owner is ready to invest in training to make her time in foster care a real success story.
