Kuma P.

Meet Kuma, a friendly, loving family dog that gets along well with people, children, dogs, and cats. Kuma’s owner received quick deploy orders and needs a foster May 5, 2024- Oct. 31, 2024.  A family member can transport within a 3-hour radius of Omaha, NE, and will accept help with transportation.

Kuma is a sweetheart who was raised with toddlers, cats, and other dogs.  Kuma is always friendly and happy and enjoys knowing what is going on.  Kuma loves going for walks, going to the dog parks, and playing with other dogs.  Kuma has medium energy and is house, leash, and crate-trained. On leash, he might pull a little out of excitement or eagerness to say hello to others, but he generally does well and is well-behaved. Kuma has no destructive tendencies except for the occasional sock or soft toy.

For the most part, Kuma is quiet and only barks when others pass the house, he enjoys being outside playing in his yard, or sun bathing.

At night, Kuma loves to cuddle up and watch TV with you and get scratched, and he usually sleeps with his owner unless it is hot. Then, he likes lying on a tile floor.
