Kora and Kyro are a pair of lovable, playful pitty mixes who are looking for a foster home while their owner is away for military training. They’re both sweet, friendly, and full of energy, and they’re hoping to find a temporary home where they can stay together and continue to spread their joy while their owner is away. If you’re within a 6-hour drive from Deltona, FL, they would love to meet you!
Kora: The Energetic Puppy with a Heart Full of Love!
- Personality: Kora is an exuberant, fun-loving puppy who always has energy to spare! She’s full of affection and will shower you with kisses, guaranteed to make you smile. Kora loves to play with her best buddy, Kyro, and enjoys exploring new places.
- Training: She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She’s great on walks, although she’s still learning some leash manners and may pull a little bit.
- Likes: Kora is food-driven, so she’s easy to train with treats. She loves playing with toys, especially Kongs, and enjoys snuggling up when she’s not busy running around. She’s a happy girl who’ll keep you entertained with her playful antics!
- Special Note: Kora is great with other dogs and does well with cats, though she tends to try to play with older kitties, which they may not always enjoy.
Kyro: The Chill Cuddle Bug with a Heart of Gold
- Personality: Kyro is the more reserved of the two, but he’s a total lovebug once he feels comfortable. He can be a little cautious with new people, but once he warms up, he’s all about belly rubs, playtime, and snuggling. Kyro loves other dogs, especially Kora, and he’s great at the dog park.
- Training: Kyro is also house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. He enjoys long walks, though he may need a little reassurance when meeting new people. He may pull slightly on the leash, but he’s a gentle boy who just loves to explore!
- Special Note: Kyro does experience some separation anxiety, but he’s made great progress with music playing and having another dog around for company. He’s happiest when he’s with his people or Kora, and he’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time or can offer him a calm, comforting environment.

- Separation Anxiety: Kyro may need some extra support with his separation anxiety. He’s done well in the past when left with other dogs and calming music. A patient foster who can work with him would be ideal.
