Breed/Type: German Shepherd

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Needs foster care by: September 7, 2023
Needs foster care until: May 31, 2024

Meet Koda, a beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd. Koda’s owner is deploying with the Navy and needs someone to watch his buddy until her return. The owner can transport within a 12-hour radius of Virginia Beach, VA.

Koda is a sweet loving boy who loves going for walks, running, and playing fetch. Koda loves to play and will let you know by bringing his favorite ball or toy and dropping at your feet. Koda is your typical Velcro dog that wants to be by your side; he enjoys cuddling and sleeping with his owner.  Koda is very good at giving cues when it is time to go out, eat, or go to bed.

Koda is very well trained, doesn’t need to be crated, and can be left for long periods without incident. Koda walks well on a leash. However, Koda is dog reactive and will bark and pull when he sees other dogs.

Koda is very loving and good with people but is dog reactive, so no other pets should be in the foster home.
