( Foster Found) Kaiser

Meet Kaiser, a very sweet German Shepard, located in Arlington, Virginia. His owner will be deploying with the Air Force for a year and he needs a foster home from May 1,^, 2023 to June 1, 2024. 

Fur Facts: 

Male, German Shepard 

8 yrs. Old, approx. 100 lbs. 

Medium Energy 

Does not have any medical concerns, but does have seasonal allergies 

Good with most female dogs, but NOT GOOD with male or big dogs, playful with cats

Good with kids  

No destructive tendencies

House trained 

Crate trained 

Leash trained and working on “heel” 

Kaiser is not a watch dog! He will befriend anyone that comes to the house. He gets along well with female dogs, but not male dogs, as he was attacked by 2 male dogs when he was younger. He has successfully completed obedience training and has learned sit, stay and down. He is currently learning how to heel. He currently sleeps on the floor near the owner’s bed or sometimes on the bed, but has been crate trained, too. He loves to fetch and go for walks, and of course he enjoys massages. Kaiser will run if he sees another dog, so keeping him on a tight leash is needed!  He would also do very well in a high fenced-in yard so he can run and play. 

Owner is willing to transport Kaiser anywhere to a loving foster home.
