Meet Jaida, an older low-maintenance pup that needs a short-term foster while a Military service member transitions from service from July 1, 2024- Aug. 20, 2024. The owner can transport within a 6-hour radius of New Port Richey, FL.
Jaida is a sweet old girl who loves her people and gets along well with children. While being 10 years old Jaida still enjoys going for long walks and playing fetch and chase in the yard. Jaida is house, leash and crate trained- but doesn’t need to be crated, and has no destructive tendencies. Jaida is well-behaved on a leash but is fearful-aggressive and other pets should be avoided. The owner states she does not pull, she will ignore or bark, but he avoids other pets to be on the safe side.
At home, Jaida is chill and relaxed and will lie around and sleep. Jaida is always happy to see her people, and just wants to be near you, following you room to room. She enjoys being outside and sunbathing. When people or children are around Jaida is happy, loving, and enjoys playing fetch, tug-of-war, or chase. She loves to cuddle with the owner when they watch movies, she loves to smell the flowers on walks. She is always looking for belly rubs and loves to be as close as possible. One of her favorite things to do is go on car rides even if she has to wait for you at the store.
Foster should not have other pets in the home.
