Meet Jack, a 6-year-old, 88-pound Plott Hound/Lab mix who needs a foster home while his owner is currently deployed from March 1, 2025, to July 20, 2025. Jack’s current caregiver is moving and can no longer care for him, so his owner is seeking a loving foster to look after him during their absence. A family member is available to transport Jack within a 4-hour radius of Fish Creek, WI.

Jack is a sweet and loving dog who is comfortable with those he knows. He enjoys cuddling, long walks, and playing with his stuffed toys, which he affectionately calls his “babies.” Jack has lived with cats and gets along well with them, but he has a tendency to be fearful and temperamental with new people. Slow introductions are key to helping him adjust. He’s also a bit selective when it comes to other dogs, preferring to be the only one in the home. Though Jack was raised with children, his owner requests that no children be in the foster home as a precaution.
