Meet Sophie and Thacher, two sweet, playful, and incredibly friendly Golden Retrievers in need of a foster home while their owner is deployed from Now- August 30, 2025. They are currently located at Schwenksville,PA  the current foster can transport within a 2 hour radius. Willing to accept help with transportation. Current foster family love Sophie and Thatcher and say they are great dogs but a family member has developed allergies and breathing issues.

 Sophie and Thacher are the epitome of lovable pups – they’re bonded, social, and eager to make new friends. They’re looking for a temporary home where they can continue to share their affection and energy with a loving family or individual while their owner serves in the military.

These two are truly special! Sophie and Thacher have no aggressive tendencies whatsoever – in fact, they are some of the sweetest dogs you’ll meet. Sophie is a snuggler at heart and loves nothing more than cuddling up with you, though she’s known to chew on blankets if left out. She’s also a bit of a toy hoarder, often hiding her toys from Thacher, but don’t worry, it’s all in good fun! Thacher is the ultimate playmate – friendly, fun-loving, and always eager to be around people. He’s easy to listen to and enjoys playing with anyone who will give him attention.

Sophie and Thacher are both extremely social, loyal, and playful. They get along wonderfully with everyone, from humans to other animals.
