Ellie M. & Marcie-Biscuit are two lovely ladies in need of a loving home while their owner serves overseas with the US Navy from January 09, 2024 until November 15, 2024. They live in Alexandria, VA and can be transported within the DMV and at minimum 4 hours. The owner is open to expanding to 8 hours ,if needed, to find the perfect home!

At 2 years old, Ellie M. is just the silliest, sweetest hound you’ll ever meet! Smiles are contagious whenever she is in the room. There will never be a dull moment with Ellie! Marcie-Biscuit, an elegant and polite 6-year old Beagle mix, is a well-mannered consummate lady. She might be the easiest dog to get to know and will seamlessly adapt to your everyday life. They both enjoy playing with each other and making friends at the dog park!

The ideal home for Ellie would be one filled with lots of cuddles and tummy scratches while Marcie-Biscuit would simply enjoy being in the company of someone that has time for her. Ellie is still learning and growing and may need to be taken to use the potty more frequently and should be in her crate if left alone to avoid any anxious chewing. Marcie-Biscuit can be a bit fearful of young children while Ellie can sometimes be skittish around unfamiliar men.

They might enjoy the occasional treat but please no bones, raw hides, or anything with eggs. Neither have extensive experience with cats and may chase them for fun. Both are accustomed to living in an apartment as long as they can go for walks or take trips to the dog park! If in a fenced home, the owner would prefer if they are supervised in the yard. The owner would love to keep them together but is comfortable with the idea of them being separated.
