Meet Ellie: A Sweet Kitty in Need of a Foster!

Meet Ellie, the sweetest kitty who needs a foster while her owner is deployed from March 20, 2025, to October 20, 2025. Ellie is located in Port Orchard, WA, and her owner can arrange transportation within a 3-hour radius of this area. After March 20th, Ellie will be at a kennel, and her owner will cover the cost of transportation.

Ellie’s Personality
Ellie is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate! This little charmer acts more like a dog than a cat—she’ll follow you around, be your shadow, and even plays fetch! She knows commands like “sit,” “fetch,” and “hungry” (when it’s time to eat). With no destructive tendencies, she loves using her scratch pad or cat tree to satisfy her scratching needs. She’s litter box trained and an indoor-only kitty.

Social and Sweet
Ellie is social, friendly with both people and children, and gets along with other cats and cat-friendly dogs, though she may be a little skittish at first. May take a few weeks for her to acclimate. Ellie can sometimes run and hide or hiss if she’s unsure, especially around new pets or loud noises, like vacuums. Once she’s comfortable, however, she’s a loving companion who loves to cuddle up on your lap and will shower you with affection.

Playful and Fun
Ellie is incredibly playful and often gets the zoomies! Her favorite toys are fishing string toys, crinkle toys, and anything that can be tossed for a game of fetch. She also loves playing hide and seek with her owner, hiding behind doors and jumping out to surprise them, before engaging in a mini chase. Ellie enjoys lounging in the sun and taking cozy cat naps on her cat tree too!
