(Foster Found) Dahlia H.

Meet Dahlia a sweet and loving pointer mix who needs a foster while her owner is deployed Jan. 24, 2025- Oct. 24, 2025. The owner is willing to transport within a 10-hour radius of Hopkinsville, KY.

Dahlia is a sweet loving family dog who is good with people, children of all ages, cats, and most dogs. Dahlia has lived with children of all ages, is tolerant of their behavior, and loves being around them. Dahlia has also lived with other dogs and cats.  Dahlia gets along with other dogs and is friendly but doesn’t like overly aggressively alpha or even overly friendly dogs that hop on her or try and get physical when they first meet.

Dahlia is house, leash, and crate trained but she doesn’t need to be crated. She doesn’t have any destructive tendencies, except for soft toys.

Dahlia was rescued from a puppy mill. When the owner first got her she was terrified of everything and would scuttle along the floor rather than walk upright. She has come a long way to living a normal life. Loves belly rubs and all people. Dahlia just wants love and attention.

Dahlia is a love bug and a super cuddler. Dahlia wants love and to be near you and loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. Dahlia also loves going for walks or even 1-4 mile runs, but also loves cuddling and napping on the sofa.

Dahlia would do well in any loving foster home that has time to give her the love and attention she deserves.
