Meet Christopher ( Chris), a sweet, cuddly boy who needs a foster for a few short months while his owner is serving with the Army Reserves from May 1, 2024- Aug. 16, 2024. The owner will be able to transport within an 8-hour radius Fort Leanard Wood, MO.

The owner describes Chris as a big couch potato who is very quiet and sleeps a lot. This loving pup loves to be by your side and is a super cuddler.  Chris enjoys going for short walks and lying around. At home is well-behaved and sleeps a lot. He occasionally plays and has a kong soft chicken that is his favorite.   The owner rescued Chris and is still working on socializing this sweet boy. Chris is good with people and some dogs. He is untested with children and cats. Christ tends not to like overly tall men and can become skittish. Chris is house, leash, and crate trained but doesn’t need to be crated- no destructive tendencies.  Chris is good on a leash, but never knows if Chris will be friendly or fearful-aggressive towards other dogs.  He has had dog friends but would need to be with a slow introduction. Chris does become overwhelmed when rushed or with a lot of commotion.

Chris needs a foster that will love him and care for him until his owner returns. Best if he is the only pet and in a home without young children.
