Meet China – A Sweet Senior Lovebug in Need of a Foster While Her Hero Serves!

China is a gentle, loving senior pit mix who needs a cozy place to call home while her owner is deployed from March 25, 2025, to November 5, 2025. Her owner is incredibly grateful for anyone willing to help and is able to transport China within six hours of Brooklyn Center, MN.

China is the perfect companion—she adores people, kids, dogs, and even cats! She’s house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained (though she hasn’t needed a crate in years). She’s not destructive but may occasionally chew on small items left within reach—so just keep those pens and plastic bits tucked away! China has grown up with kids of all ages and loves nothing more than playing with them and covering them in happy kisses. She’s also lived with other dogs and cats—she’s friendly with pups and usually just ignores the cats.

This sweet girl loves adventure! She’s always up for a walk, car ride, or playtime in the yard. She may pull a little at first on walks because she’s just so excited to explore, but will calm down a bit. She should wear a harness when on walks She’s friendly with everyone she meets, happily wagging her tail and giving a quick “sniff hello” before moving along. While she doesn’t visit dog parks, she’s been to doggie daycare, stayed with pet sitters, and lived with other dogs—and she’s done amazing every time!

When it’s time to relax, China is the ultimate cuddle buddy. She’s happiest curled up next to you, soaking in all the love she can get. She thrives on companionship and will fill your home with warmth, joy, and gratitude.
