Buster is a sweet and loving 1-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who is looking for a foster home from April 30, 2025, to October 31, 2025, while his owner is deployed. Currently located in Paso Robles, CA, Buster’s current caregiver is unable to continue caring for him, and his owner is looking for a temporary foster family. Don’t worry – transportation is covered within a 6-hour radius of Paso Robles, so Buster can easily be brought to you no matter where you are in that area!

• Personality: Buster has a gentle, timid personality, but he’s also a bundle of joy and excitement! He’s a big, goofy boy who still thinks he’s a lap dog. While he’s a bit shy at first, once he’s comfortable, he’s all cuddles and affection. He loves everyone he meets, but may jump a bit when he’s excited to meet new people or pets. Buster’s happy-go-lucky puppy spirit will make every day feel like an adventure.

• Still a Puppy at Heart: Buster still has that playful puppy mentality! He loves to explore, and sometimes that means he may chew on things like shoe laces, so it’s important to keep those out of reach. But don’t worry—he’s still learning, and with a little guidance, he’ll grow out of this stage.

• Training: Buster is house-trained, crate-trained, and semi-leash trained. He’s well-behaved for his age, and he’s always ready to learn more. While he’s still young and has plenty of energy, he’s also calm and relaxed when it’s time to snuggle up on the couch.

• Good with Other Pets: Buster is great with other dogs and even gets along well with cats. He has a social, friendly disposition and would thrive in a home where he can interact with other pets. He loves to play and would make a perfect companion for a dog that enjoys having a buddy around.
