Bella & Izzy P

Meet Bella and Izzy, two affectionate, well-behaved canine siblings currently residing in a kennel in Temple, Texas. Their owner is currently deployed and unable to care for them until May 31, 2025. To ensure their well-being during this period, we are seeking a loving foster home within an 8 to 10-hour drive from Temple. The owner is committed to covering transportation costs within this radius and would appreciate assistance with the logistics or transportation.

Bella is a 4-year-old female pit bull known for her playful and affectionate nature. She enjoys meeting new people and is curious yet cautious around other dogs. Bella is house, leash, and crate-trained, and she loves to cuddle and be close to her human companions. She can be extra vocal around smaller dogs—not out of aggression, but as a precaution, the owner prefers to avoid them. Bella is food-driven and will spin in circles when excited for treats.

Izzy is a 5-year-old female cattle dog who is kind and lovable. She does well on a leash but may pull; however, she listens well when told to stop. Izzy is cautious when meeting new people but warms up once she feels safe. She can be shy at first, especially around men, but becomes loving and affectionate once she feels secure.

Both dogs get along with most dogs and have attended doggy daycare with reports of them doing well. Both dogs are bonded siblings who enjoy playing and running around in the yard together. They have a medium-high prey drive and will chase squirrels and cats. They listen well when told to stop. They can often be found napping together and have been raised with children of all ages. However, the owner prefers a foster home without young children or small dogs to ensure the best environment for Bella and Izzy.
