Bagel L is a lovable 4-year-old Pitt mix weighing around 50 lbs. This playful and friendly pup is in need of a foster home while her owner receives medical care from December 18, 2024, through February 12, 2025. Bagel’s owner can transport her to a foster home within a 6-hour radius of Columbus, OH.

Bagel is a well-behaved, low-maintenance companion who is good with people, children, and dogs. She has lived with children of all ages and is tolerant of young kids’ behaviors, making her a great family dog. While untested with cats, Bagel has had positive interactions with other dogs, though she has limited experience with smaller dogs and tends to have an alpha personality around larger dog groups.

Bagel enjoys short walks but is also content to spend time lounging around. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and semi-leash trained, though she may pull on the leash at times. In her downtime, Bagel loves to find a sunny spot to relax and gaze out the window. She’s also a big fan of toys, especially kongs, balls, and tug-of-war ropes, though she has a habit of tearing up plush toys.

One of Bagel’s favorite things is simply being close to her people. She’ll happily follow you from room to room and, once you settle in, she’ll snuggle up next to you, burrow under a blanket, and show off her “super cuddler” side. She’s equally happy to chill out and enjoy some quiet time as she is to engage in play.

Bagel has lived in an apartment, making her adaptable to different living situations. With her medium energy level and affectionate nature, Bagel L is the perfect balance of playful and relaxed.
