What a sweetheart!! Meet Apollo, a lovable, friendly, social Rhodesian/pitty mix who needs a place to hang while his owner is deployed with the National Guard,  Jan. 14, 2024 -Nov. 26, 2024. The family member can help transport within a 4-hour radius of Pittsburg, PA.

Apollo is described as the best-natured animal anyone ever met. He is just a friendly, happy-go-lucky guy who wants to be friends with everyone and is always eager to please.  Apollo gets along with everyone: people, children of all ages, dogs, and cats.  He is just that friendly.  This high-energy guy gets with children of all ages, but he doesn’t know his size, and if he accidentally knocks a toddler over, he will start kissing their faces. Apollo is playful with cats, but if the cat hisses, Apollo is quick to back away and leave them alone.

Apollo loves to be by your side and go for long walks or hikes. In the warmer weather, Apollo enjoys splashing and swimming in creeks and streams. Apollo enjoys meeting new people and pets on his walk, while he might tug a little, he is easy to walk.  He even enjoys camping. At home, Apollo just wants to be by your side and will follow you around.  During his downtime, Apollo is a snuggler and can curl up with you for hours. He is a bit of a bed hog, so he will either sleep with his owner or in his crate.
