Ace is a 7-year-old Staffordshire Terrier with a heart full of love and a goofy grin to match! This charming pup is in need of a foster home while his devoted owner is deployed for military service from May 5, 2025, through July 5, 2026. Ace’s owner is willing to transport him anywhere within an 8-hour radius of El Paso, TX or Tucson, AZ, making him accessible to a wide range of loving foster families.

Why You’ll Love Ace

Ace is the total package! Friendly, affectionate, and well-mannered, Ace thrives on human interaction and has never met a walk or a cuddle he didn’t like. He’s great with adults, kids over 6, and other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to many types of households. While he hasn’t been tested with toddlers or cats, his calm and social nature suggests he’s a pretty adaptable guy.

Ace is fully house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained—though he doesn’t actually need to be crated, as he’s never been destructive. He’s just as happy snoozing on the couch as he is trotting alongside you on a walk. Speaking of walks, Ace is known to get a little excited when meeting new friends (people or pups!), but it’s all out of joy—he just loves making new pals!

The Ultimate Companion

Ace is a true lap dog and couch potato. He adores cuddles and prefers to sleep close to his human, following them around the house with loyalty and affection. He’s a gentle soul who finds joy in the simple things: squeaky stuffies (which he doesn’t destroy!), greeting you at the door with his toys, and enjoying a cozy nap by your side. Ace is also food-motivated and eager to please, which makes him a breeze to care for.

He’s even office-approved—Ace has tagged along to work with his owner and done wonderfully. He also enjoys doggie daycare, car rides, and picking out new toys at the pet store. Whether you’re looking for a buddy to join you on adventures or just keep you company at home, Ace fits the bill.
