Breed/Type: Chocolate Lab and a Silver Lab
Location: Westville, NJ
Meet Jack and Jojo, two lovable Labs looking for a temporary place to call home while their Veteran owner receives treatment from February 20 to April 7, 2025. Their owner can transport them within a two-hour radius of Westville, NJ, and while they’d love to stay together, they can be fostered separately to ensure they each find a safe and loving home during this time. Whether you can take in one or both, these sweet boys would be so grateful for a warm place to stay!
These two pups have different personalities but share one thing in common—they are loyal, loving, and ready to bring joy into your home!
Jack is a happy-go-lucky, high-energy chocolate Lab who is always up for an adventure! Whether it’s romping around the dog park, chasing his favorite toy, or zooming across the yard, Jack is full of life and fun. He’s great with people, kids, and other dogs (though he hasn’t met any cats yet).
Jack is house, leash, and crate trained, though he doesn’t need to be crated—unless you’re trying to save your plush toys or TV remote! (He has a soft spot for chewing those.) At the end of a busy day, Jack loves to snuggle up for belly rubs, curl up beside you, and soak in all the love.
He does get a little jealous when his brother Jojo gets attention, but overall, Jack is a sweet, affectionate pup who thrives on companionship. If you’re looking for a playful, social, and affectionate foster buddy, Jack is your guy!
Jojo is a calm and easygoing senior silver Lab who enjoys the simple things in life—leisurely walks, gentle head scratches, and plenty of nap time. He’s house-trained and leash-trained, but not crate-trained, though he doesn’t need to be—he’s completely trustworthy and can be left alone for up to 10 hours without any trouble.
Jojo has a gentle and independent nature, preferring to relax in a cozy spot nearby rather than be the center of attention. He enjoys being outside, playing fetch for a little while, and then finding a comfy spot to rest. While he may bark when strangers approach, he warms up quickly and is always friendly and polite.
One of Jojo’s greatest joys? Treats—lots of them! If you love rewarding a pup with snacks, Jojo will be your best friend in no time. He’s a sweet, low-maintenance companion who would love a quiet, loving home to relax in.
Jack and Jojo are looking for kind-hearted fosters who can provide a safe and loving temporary home while their owner receives care.
