UPDATE: Lisa and her husband were able to find a temporary foster in Florida!

Lisa and her husband are being assigned to a new US Army base overseas for the next 2 years.  They had always planned to bring their small dogs, Momo and Zeke, with them when they travel.  Unfortunately, Zeke and Momo still need to go through a Rabies quarantine before they can be accepted safely in their new country.  Zeke and Momo need a place to stay from 6/6/2018 until 11/1/2018 while they finish their quarantine, and then they will fly away home and join their family overseas.

Zeke, a 4 year old Jack Russel Terrier mix, and Momo, a 5 year old Lhasa apso, are shy dogs who will need a quiet home and a gentle hand.  Both are rescue dogs with troubled pasts – Lisa and her husband have had them each for around 3 years.  Despite their individual rough starts in life, Zeke and Momo are loving and affectionate to their owners, and are social with other dogs and cats.  They would do best with older children who would respect their space.  Their mom and dad say that the best temporary home for them would be one where they would receive affection, attention, and patience.  Zeke and Momo understand commands for sit, stay, and wait.  Can you offer Zeke and Momo a safe place to stay until their big trip?
