Charlie is a member of the US National Guard and is preparing for training that will take him away from his Elkins, AR, home from 8/1/2021 – 11/9/2021.  Charlie is hoping to find a great PACT foster home for his little dog, Violet, for the time that he will be away.
Violet is an 8 year old, 15lbs, spayed female Yorkshire Terrier mix.  Violet is up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention.  Violet also takes a daily medication for urinary tract health, which she eats in a small piece of cheese.  Violet is good with other dogs and respectful kids, but doesn’t have experience with cats.  She can be fearful of highly energetic or alpha dogs.  Violet may also dig under the fence in the backyard if she’s not being supervised.  Charlie says, “Violet is VERY soft and sweet and cuddly; she is definitely a LOVER! She pretty much loves every human she meets. She likes to snuggle and LOVES any kind of physical affection, especially belly rubs. And she DOESN’T SHED!! Her perfect foster would be someone who can give her lots of love and attention and not TOO much time alone. A retiree would be perfect, or stay-at-home parent with children who will be gentle with her. She occasionally has indoor accidents if not prompted to go outside (she’s not great about always letting you know when she needs out).”
