UPDATE: Josh and his family were able to secure a temporary foster for Tyson.  Thanks, Josh!
Josh is scheduled to go away for a short three month training at the end of April.  His wife, 6 months pregnant with their second child, will be taking their 18 month old and staying with family during this time.  Unfortunately, the relatives that she will be staying with cannot also fit Josh and Kristina’s 140lbs Great Dane, Tyson, in addition to Kristina and their daughter.  We’re looking for the perfect foster home for Tyson from 4/20/2018 – 7/20/2018.
Tyson is a 2 year old neutered male, and well trained to boot.  He’s good on leash, doesn’t jump when meeting new people, and knows a lot of tricks, not just the old obedience training. Tyson is up to date on his vaccinations and his flea/tick preventative.  He is a little nervous meeting new people, but the moment he realizes you’re a friend, he’ll want all the petting you can handle!  He’s good with both dogs and cats.  He LOVES babies and kids, loves taking walks and going to the dog park, and is crate trained.  Tyson does like to bark – and has a very loud, deep bark – so Josh and Kristina have used a bark collar in the past.
As with all PACT for Animals foster pets, Tyson‘s food, treats, and vet care will be completely covered by his family while he stays with you.  All you need to provide is a home and daily care/exercise.  If you’re interested in fostering Tyson, please let me know!
