Tom is a member of the US Army preparing for an overseas assignment which will take him away from his Fayetteville, NC, home from 6/21/2019 – 11/22/2019! Tom’s only concern is for his loyal dog, Thor. Thor has been with Tom for the past 5 years, through good times and bad, and it would break Tom’s heart to have to rehome him for any reason. PACT is hoping to find a great foster for this loving pup while his dad is away.

Thor is a 5 year old neutered male Boxer. Thor is about 75 lbs, and up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Thor also takes an oral probiotic daily, which Tom will provide. Thor is energetic and playful with other dogs, but doesn’t have much experience with kids or cats. Thor knows commands for sit, inside/outside, walk, and of course he knows what “food” means! Thor is working on his leash training, and he’s also been crate trained. Tom says, “Thor loves being your best friend. He can go from a highly playful dog, to the most calm, sympathetic one in an instant. He laid by my side for two straight months with his head on my lap when I could barely walk.” Thor would do best in a home with a foster who would take him for daily walks or runs.
