Wendy served as an Army Judge Advocate officer for 30 years, both on active duty and in the Reserves. She retired in 2011 at the rank of Colonel. Her awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal and the Legion of Merit. As a civilian lawyer, Wendy worked as a federal prosecutor for the Department of Justice in Philadelphia for 13 years. She has worked as a volunteer for animal rescues since 2008 and currently has 4 rescue pets; 3 cats and one dog.
