Matt is a veteran of the US Navy and is currently undergoing treatment for PTSD.  He is hoping to find a support system for his beautiful dog, Stan Lee, while he undergoes treatment.  Stan Lee will need a foster from 9/8/2021 – 9/8/2022 near Matt’s home in Toms River, NJ.

Stan Lee is a 5 year old, 85lbs, neutered male American Pit Bull Terrier.  Stan Lee is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Stan Lee has been with Matt for the last 4 years of his life, and they are both very bonded to each other!  Stan does pull on leash and will need a strong handler to give him a little more training in the leash walking department.  He knows commands for sit and stay.  Matt says, “He is a huge cuddle bug. He always got between my ex and I and laid his body across us. I take him skateboarding with me and he can pull me great distances following commands and staying focused. He has cute head tilt when trying to understand you.”
