Rebecca is a US Navy service member. Rebecca and her family will soon be changing stations overseas for the next two years 11/17/2019 – 11/16/2021. The family intends to bring their dog, Spydi, overseas with them after they have acquired family housing at their new station, but due to the uncertain nature of these efforts, Rebecca has reached out to PACT to attempt to find Spydi a foster from 11/17/2019 – 11/16/2021. Spydi may be able to fly over prior to the end of this two year term!
Spydi is a 6 year old, 75 lbs, neutered male black lab/hound mix. Spydi is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention. Spydi is leash trained and is an active boy who loves to take walks. He knows commands for sit, stay, lay down, speak, and high five. Spydi is great with kids, cats, and other dogs, though he tends to prefer a dog that is a little lower energy and will give him his space at times. Spydi loves to play, walk, and snuggle. Here’s a word from Rebecca on why Spydi is her Best Boy: “I threw up one morning and he sat right next to me in the bathroom, he never does that. . . later that day I found out I was pregnant. He is special to me because I have had him since he was a puppy and he has been the one consistent thing in my life for the last six years. I’m dual military and I have been away from my husband, moved, had a baby and he was there for it all.”
