In what may be PACT’s fastest Foster placement, little Spring the Shih-tzu was saved in just 6 hours on a Friday in October 2014, and her mother, Amy, could not be more grateful. Amy’s newborn daughter was in St. Christopher’s Childrens Hospital, and Amy was staying in the Ronald McDonald House to be near her. She had no one that would take care of her beloved little pup, Spring. Amy called PACT at noon on Friday, and by 6pm she was meeting Spring’s new foster family, the Markizons. Spring was happy and safe playing with the Markizon family while Amy’s daughter recovered. 6 weeks later, Amy was able to walk out of the hospital with her daughter in her arms, and soon picked up little Spring as well, to finally bring her happy and healthy family back hom
