Zimby

Zimbabwe (Zimby) is in need of a place to chill out while his owners are overseas with the Navy from October 15^th, 2023 until October 1^st, 2025. They live in the Chevy Chase, Maryland Area and are willing to transport Zimby just about anywhere for the right home!

His owners describe him as a “big baby” who can be on a bit of the shy side at first meet but once he’s warmed up to you, he will gladly spend his day lounging in your company. He enjoys being around people in any environment, whether it’s at home, cuddled up around a campfire, or at a pup-friendly restaurant. He is the goodest boy and is constantly complimented on how relaxed he is. Although he understands sit, stay, drop it and go get ‘em, he is sometimes a bit stubborn and could use a little coaxing.

Zimby currently lives with an 8lbs mini doodle and enjoys the company of other pups big or small so having another dog in the home is a plus. The owners would love a family who would take the time to play with him, take him for walks and trips to the dog park, or just enjoy relaxing with him on a lazy day. He is comfortable being around children and other dogs and is playful around cats. Zimby is adapted to live in apartments and homes with or without yards.
